Thoughts on the upcoming election:

We have received calls and emails asking for signs for both national and local elections. I want to assure anyone that has contacted us that we have forwarded that request through the proper channels but to no avail. The county committee has done nothing for the local candidates and seems to be a lost cause.

This is a critical election this year. It seems that all leadership at the state and local levels have failed us and they are all democratically controlled. This would be the perfect time to take advantage of that and change it. Our state house seat is vacated and up for grabs so why not throw everything behind it? We have an inexperienced (although great individual), all but uncontested Democrat candidate for the seat against an experienced Republican candidate who has had no support from her party.

We will continue to fight to get you literature, signs, and updates to hopefully bring the Republican ideals back into the mon valley. We understand the majority of the area is Democrat and, in small communities, we are all close friends. Most have stayed registered Democrat to keep jobs and their friends. What they do in the booth is a different thing. Keep your heads up!
