It is with sorrow that we announce the passing of Life Member Bev Cosgove. Bev spent nearly all of her life in the service of her community, not only as a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, but also for decades as an EMT. She proudly staffed the ambulance alongside her husband, Butch, and then with her sons, Wayne and Nate, and daughter, Pam. As life presented her with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her focus was certainly still of service, but now to even more on her family. That only means her role at the fire department seemed to shift from emergency responder to matriarch. While we all knew her name was Bev, we all just came to call her "Mema." Her smile, quick wit, and constant reminder to us that she "loved us more," will never be forgotten. We express our deepest condolences to the Cosgrove family but do so with the most exceptional gratitude for her life and service to the Borough of Dravosburg. Thank you for the all the love, Mema. 🚨 Attention Members – Purse/Cash Bash Tickets 🚨

Hi everyone! Just a quick reminder as we get closer to the event:

• All unsold tickets need to be turned into the bar ASAP so we can get an accurate final count.
• All sold tickets must be turned in by Friday at the latest.

I won’t be able to count tickets the day of the event this year, so getting everything in ahead of time is a huge help and keeps things running smoothly for everyone.

In light of the predicted snowstorm, please know that the fire department is a place of refuge and shelter, especially if you should lose power. We will be staffed and ready to serve the borough in any emergency situation that should arise, but please do not hesitate to come to the station if you need to keep warm. Stay safe and healthy out there!

This morning Station 293 responded to a residential structure fire. We will have an official post tomorrow regarding the incident, but wanted to offer our services as a collection location.

We will have a collection drop off location setup for the family this Tuesday and Thursday starting at 6pm until 8pm. We will be happy to assist with the collection of items and work to have them delivered to Carolyn for the family.

Please see the attached image for items needed. We will also be taking donations to purchase gift cards as well for the family.
