We also protect your legacy, handling complex estate disputes to ensure your family’s future is secure. As a long time DUI attorney, I have fought the fight for real people day in and day out. I know that our legal system is not balanced. I know that as a defendant, you have to prove that you are not guilty despite what we are taught about our legal system. Along the way, I have seen the abuse the

real people suffer at the hands of the police and other government officials. I have watched as people cry and suffer because they have no chance against the system. I will not sit idly by and allow the government, large corporations, or simply the big and powerful to abuse real people. I am a real person and I fight for real people.

The neighbor was captured in several videos yelling racist slurs directed at the Midvale family, including at a child. The family's plight has spread rapidly online and prompted action from city officials.

If anyone out there found one of 40 $100 bills yesterday in the Sandy / Murray area “your welcome.” Please know my generosity was not intentional but I guess there are those who need it more than I. If one person found the whole wad, I hope you will return the generosity the universe provided.

In this day and age with technology being what it is I sometimes forget about the simple things.

Yesterday, I received a cash payment of $4000. I was excited to get it because it’s the first of the month and I have mortgage, utilities, insurance, and all the other bills everyone has to pay in life.

I put my money in my pants pocket to take to the bank. Filled out the deposit slip and stand in line briefly, I approached the counter and reached into my pocket. The money wasn’t there. I checked my other pocket, it wasn’t there either.

I retraced all of my steps tried to think of where I might’ve set it down, scrambled to try to find the money in my pocket.

After it was nowhere to be found I realized my pants or more particularly, my pocket, betrayed me. There was a hole in the pocket. The $4,000 slipped away from me with barely a whisper.

As I think back now I remember these pants have a hole in their pocket. I think I felt the money slide down my leg and I disregarded it.

I put the money in my pocket and now my money is gone.

No tolerance for racism in school. This district tolerates the use of racial slurs at least once. Then they feel “blindsided” when their mistakes and slap on the wrist response goes unappreciated.

I’ll tell you who was blindsided, the student who heard a trusted administrator use a word. The family was further blindsided by the attempts to minimize its use.

A former vice principal at Bennion Jr. High called an 8th-grade African American girl the N-word last May.

📚It’s an interesting story of how I became a lawyer.

I am grateful everyday that I get to help others.

As a community, we have an obligation to provide all children with the opportunity to learn and be positioned for success as they become adults. We cannot expect change to happen in this world—a world that is in desperate need of change—by continuing to dismiss such harsh treatment of innocent children. I feel we can agree that ALL children, regardless of race, color, disability, sexual orientation and identity, or any other differences, deserve to feel safe in school and valued as a human being.

This is not a call for all children to be treated the same, but rather for all children to be given the opportunities to succeed individually. No two children are the same and we need to meet them where they are.

The world is forever a little dimmer without the bright light of Izzy here with us. Nothing can be done to change her fate. However, there is the chance to prevent another family from facing the same seismic tragedy. Let this be a call to stop only talking about change and in its place taking action to create the change.

At the national level, more than 27 percent of Black households are late on paying their debts, compared to 15 percent of White households, even though Black median debt ($30,800) is about half of White median debt ($73,800). We also found that just 40 percent of Black households reported having good or very good credit, compared to 65 percent of White households. That leaves Black communities with fewer good options for acquiring credit, such as payday loan

Americans are carrying a lot of debt. NerdWallet finds that by the end of 2018, the collective total debt owed by Americans—including mortgages, credit cards, student and auto loans—stood at more than $13.5 trillion dollars. That’s an almost 10 percent increase from just three years ago.
