Recently, a number of our Willow Springs students participated in fun field trips! The 4th grade visited This is the Place State Park, the 3rd grade visited the Utah State Capitol, while the 1st grade visited the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art. Thanks to teachers, PTA, and room volunteers who made these trips possible.

We are excited to welcome our new assistant principal for the 2025-26 school year Amber Rock. Amber has worked in education for over a decade. Throughout her career, she's served as a substitute teacher, Brain Booster, classroom teacher, and most recently, an extended learning specialist supporting Title I schools. She also works as an adjunct professor for the University of Utah, helping Canyons School District educators earn their ESL certification.

February 28th is the last day to declare interest in half-day kindergarten for the upcoming 2025-26 school year. If you are interested in enrolling your student in half-day kindergarten, email Principal Hansen before then.

During the month of January as part of our school-wide arts-integration program, second grade students solved multi-step story problems with dot art, 5th grade explored substances and mixtures with paint pours, and 4th grade learned about the movement of the sun while hand-building ceramic sundials. We have great students creating amazing things at Willow Springs!
