Last week, Vita's Executive Director Heather Giampapa joined colleagues from across Pennsylvania’s adult education community, including Delaware County Literacy Council and Literacy Pittsburgh, at the PA Department of Education’s Annual Kickoff event in Harrisburg. Heather also met with Vita's PDE Advisor, Hope Edis, and shared ideas on how we can best serve our students and clients. Here's to kicking off a great new program year!

Online pre-registration for fall classes is open! Visit Vita's website to learn more about fall classes in English language, GED preparation, basic skills, and Family Literacy and sign up to register.

English Language Learning classes help people learn to read, write, speak, and understand English. Students gain skills that help them in everyday life and feel more connected to their community.

Thanks to shoppers' support, plus the company's generous match, Vita received $7,147 to help fund programs for our students and clients. Every time you visit Kimberton Whole Foods in Ottsville this month, you can support Vita by rounding up your total to the nearest dollar at checkout. And your generosity will be doubled, because Kimberton Whole Foods will match every single donation, penny for penny!
