Statement from Bucks County District Attorney Jen Schorn:

As the Chief Law Enforcement Officer of Bucks County, I have been fully briefed by local law enforcement and Emergency Services in preparation for the events this past weekend.

There is a troubling irony in the fact that while these men and women prepare to keep the peace while respecting individual rights, my opponent is exploiting this moment to advance his political agenda. Perhaps this shines the brightest light on the fact that not only is he lacking in experience, having never prosecuted a single case here in Bucks County, but also appears clueless as to the role of the District Attorney. The role of District Attorney is not that of a political activist - it demands impartiality, experience, and a steadfast commitment to justice, not ideology. If my opponent fails to grasp this now, it’s clear he won’t uphold these principles if elected.

I want to express my sincere gratitude to the Bucks County Chiefs of Police, Bucks County Emergency Services, and all the men and women in law enforcement, fire, EMS, and public safety who serve our community with professionalism and integrity.

🚨🚨🚨 At today’s Commissioners meeting, Bob Harvie and Diane Marseglia REFUSED to extend Sheriff Harran’s time while he was speaking about the importance of School Resource Officers.

The Democrat Commissioners then cut the live stream of the meeting and left the room. Thank you to Commissioner Gene DiGirolamo for staying and supporting Sheriff Harran and asking him questions, which permitted him more time to speak and address the issues and questions so many in our county and community are asking.

Thank you to the dedicated community members who continued filming and called out this outrageous behavior of the two out of control Democrat Commissioners.

Go to BucksGOP.org and request your Mail-In Ballot today! Make your voice heard!

Great piece by DA Jen Schorn and Sheriff Fred Harran!

Two public servants that truly care about keeping our community safe and have dedicated their lives to doing so.

"The weight of a stolen sense of safety. The echoing silence after a violent act. These are the realities that National Crime Victims’ Rights Week (April 6-12) forces us to confront, a stark reminder that even in the serene landscapes of Bucks County, shadows linger. As Sheriff and District Attorney, we’re not just your elected law enforcement officials, but your neighbors and professionals deeply aware of the fragility of peace and the enduring strength of the human spirit."
