Rescue Box 20010 transmitted Rescue 19 to assist Plumsteadville Volunteer Fire Company at 1547hrs to the 4100blk of Ferry Road in Plumstead Township for a reported auto extrication. Crews arrived to provided hazard control and assist EMS as needed.

Rescue 19 stood by during the CB West graduation as we have members receiving diplomas.

During the event (due to heat), several attendees suffered heat related exhaustion.

At 1409hrs: Rescue 19 transmitted a special assignment on Local Box 19090 to add UTV79 for transport support in coordination with Central Bucks Emergency Medical Services which staffed the event.

Our Personnel provided water and site transportation in coordination with EMS & Borough of Doylestown EMA.

Numerous patients treated (onsite) and/or transported.

Along with Point Pleasant Vol. Fire Co., we attended the funeral service for Ronald “Butch” Wood.

“Pop” worked as Dispatcher 108 for the Bucks County Department of Emergency Communications from 1974-2002.

An icon in the Bucks County Fire service, his patience and guidance assured positive outcomes during many emergencies.

His legacy of service will never be forgotten.

As we blast into the summer months, we're extending an invite to everyone to join our mission by becoming a member of the Doylestown Fire Company team. If any of the activities posted on our page seem interesting, stop by either station on a Wednesday night. In addition to active firefighters, we also offer positions for Junior members between the ages of 14 and 18.

Our annual “Old Timers Night” saw past and current members back in quarters for an evening of laughter & camaraderie.

We presented some awards previously announced at the banquet and received commendations from Local ,State & Federal officials including our District Attorney.

Thank you to all for your kind words & continued support.

A special thanks to SJR Fire LLC for your continued logistical support.

We were able to photograph three of our previous & current apparatus together for the 1st time.

1938 Hale (Tilley family) 1968 Hahn (Loux family) & 1998 Pierce (Engine 19-1)….30 years between each.

We look forward to seeing everyone next June!

The Bucks Fire Station Softball League kicked off last weekend. We captured a season opening win over Newtown Fire Rescue.

The Streamlight, Inc. player of the game was Lieutenant Amanda McKenney who pitched a gem.

We are excited for another season of competition and teamwork both on the field & on the fire ground.

Tactical Box 34006 transmitted Engine 19, Rescue 19 & Tower 79 at 1113hrs to assist Chalfont Fire Company in New Britain Township in the 40blk of Layla Lane for a dwelling fire.

Crews contained the fire to the basement heater and adjacent area. No injuries were reported.

Our crews operated at the scene for about an hour.

Following the march, our honor guard posted colors during the Vfw Doylestown, Post #175 wreath laying ceremony.

Tower 79 was stationed at Broad Street & East Court Street displaying colors for all to pass under during the parade.

God Bless America and all those who have served this great nation.

Rescue Box 19026 transmitted at 1219hrs on 5/19/2026 for an auto extrication at East Ashland Street & Taylor Street in the Borough of Doylestown.

A motorist suffered a medical emergency while driving which caused their pickup to strike & vault a parked vehicle.

Responders stabilized, secured hazards and extricated the driver to the care of Central Bucks Emergency Medical Services for transport.

We operated at the scene for about 45 minutes.
