On 6/1, officers responded to the report of a toddler in a diaper near the roadway. The parent of the child was located and a referral was made to Wayne County Children's Services.

On 6/1, an officer responded to the report of harassing text messages and alleged property damage.

On 6/1, a Hidden Pond Dr. resident reported a fraudulent cashier's check being created and cashed for $1200.00 against her bank account.

On 6/1, an E. Marion St. mother reported that her son was being harassed by other juveniles.

On 6/3, a High St. mother reported that an unknown man gave her son $50.00. The son later admitted to stealing the $50.00 from his mom.

On 6/3, a Koehler St. mother reported that her son was struck by a vehicle, but not injured, while crossing the street at the square. The driver of the vehicle was later identified.

On 6/4, while responding to an EMS call, an EMS member and a police officer were bitten by a dog. The Wayne County Dog Warden was requested and responded.

On 6/4, an officer stopped a vehicle on SR585 for an obstructed license plate. The registered owner of the vehicle was determined to have an active warrant. Suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were also located. Charges are pending test results.

On 6/4, an officer responded to the report of a dog that had injured a cat inside the dog's fenced in backyard. The Waye County Dog Warden was requested and responded.

On 6/5, a Summit St. resident reported a fraudulent student loan being opened in his name.

On 6/5, an officer responded to the report of a vehicle vs. sign accident at Gates St. and SR585. The driver was issued a citation for Improper Backing.

On 6/6, a Northwood Dr. resident reported receiving threats from his ex-wife.

On 6/7, an officer assisted WCSO in 14000 block of Calaboone Rd. with the report of a domestic disturbance.

On 6/7, officers responded to the area of SR585 for the report of an erratic driver. The call was received from a 3rd party after a passenger in the car stated that her husband has dementia and was driving at excessive speeds. The vehicle was located and eventually stopped on SR21 near Ghent Rd. with the assistance of the Copley Police Dept.

**TURNED OVER TO THE DOG WARDEN**

Found in the area of Fraze Rd. and Galehouse Rd. No tag, but is microchipped. The information associated with the microchip however may or may not be accurate. Currently being held at the Police Dept. waiting to be transferred to the Dog Warden.

On 5/27, an officer assisted the Norton Police Dept. and WCSO in the 15000 block of Hametown Rd. with locating a male that reportedly had a gun at the Dollar General.

On 5/28, two separate residents reported mailing a personal check in the mail and the checks being altered and cashed for different amounts. Both cases remail under investigation and will likely be turned over to USPS Postal Inspector and/or Inspector General.

On 5/28, an officer responded to the area of Howard St. and Brooklyn Ave. for a juvenile disturbance.

On 5/29, officers responded to 100 block of Jackson St. for a domestic dispute.

On 5/30, officers responded to the report of a domestic that had previously occurred.

On 5/31, officers assisted with the report of a rolling domestic on SR585. The vehicle was located at the Circle K on SR585 at SR57.

On 5/19, officers responded to the report of an erratic driver. The vehicle, which had heavy front-end damage, was located at the park. When officers made contact with the driver, an open ice-cold beer was located between his legs. The driver was determined not to be under the influence, to have just purchased the beer and was issued a citation for Open Container/Consumption in a Motor Vehicle.

On 5/19, a Collier Dr. resident reported that her apartment manager intentionally used a leaf blower on her doorbell camera and it was not working properly. The camera was cleaned and started working.

On 5/22, officers responded to the 100 block of Vineyard Way for the report of juveniles knocking on doors.

On 5/23, an officer responded to the report of a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Church St. and N. Portage St. No injuries were reported.

On 5/23, a N. Portage St. resident reported that his ex-girlfriend was still using his credit card to make Amazon purchases.

On 5/26, officers assisted the Barberton Police Dept. by attempting to make contact with a theft suspect.

On 5/26, officers responded to a N. Portage St. business for a suspected B&E. It was determined that an employee was merely working on a door at closing.

On 5/11, officers assisted the Wadsworth Police Dept. with the recovery of concrete forms and pins after they were "mistakenly" taken as scrap.

On 5/12, officers responded to the 400 block of High St. after a resident reported someone knocking at their door. It was determined to be the neighbor's pizza being delivered.

On 5/14, an individual reported paying a contractor upwards to $100k to complete work at his home and he has not been able to reach the contractor for some time.

On 5/14, officers assisted by WCSO, served an arrest warrant in the 300 block of Collier Dr.

On 5/14, an officer responded to the 16000 block of Old Chippewa Tr. for a 911 open.

On 5/15, a Collier Dr. resident reported that his gas cap had been tampered with. After reviewing camera footage, the incident was determined to be an oversight.

On 5/16, a resident reported receiving a text message for a civil traffic violation. The text was determined to be scam.

On 5/16, a N. Portage St. resident reported an alleged violation of protection order.

On 5/16, an officer responded to a female in crisis having suicidal ideations.

On 5/4, officers responded to a student/bicyclist vs. a school bus accident. It was determined that the student was northbound along N. Portage St. (on the sidewalk) and failed to yield to a school bus which had a green light and was entering the intersection from W. Marion St. The student suffered minor injuries.

On 5/4, a student reportedly did not make it to her grandparents' home after school. It was later determined that the child had entered the home without her grandparents knowing and was located in the home.

On 5/5, an officer warned a male for being inside the stadium. Officers will continue to monitor and respond to reports of the unauthorized use of the stadium facilities at the request of Chippewa Local Schools.

On 5/6, officers assisted the WCSO with a warrant attempt in the 500 block of High St.

On 5/6, an officer assisted WCSO with a warrant attempt in the 15000 block of Galehouse Rd.

On 5/7, officers responded to a N. Portage St. business and placed the business in a brief lockdown as the result of an incident elsewhere in the County which involved a firearm.

On 5/7, officers responded to a disturbance in the student parking of the Jr/Sr High School. A group of males ranging in age from 16-18yo were located near the stadium and identified. Charges for Disorderly conduct and Criminal Trespass have been submitted for prosecutorial review.

On 5/8, a Pine St. resident reported being repeatedly contacted by her ex-boyfriend. The male was placed on notice and advised that future contact could result in criminal charges.

On 5/8, an officer responded to the report of an alleged violation of a protection order during a custody exchange.

On 5/8, officers assisted the WCSO with a combative female. The female was turned over to EMS and transported to the hospital.

On 5/8, an officer assisted WCSO with a warrant attempt in the 600 block of Eastern Rd.

On 5/9, officers assisted WCSO with a warrant attempt in the 15000 block of Galehouse Rd.

On 5/10, an officer responded to the 100 block of S. Portage St. for a disturbance.

On 5/10, an officer assisted the WCSO at the Circle K at SR585/57 with the report of a vehicle stuck on the curb and a female outside the vehicle stumbling around as if intoxicated.
