👂🏾 Speaking truth with my brothers and sisters at Dirty Talk Podcast 336. As Mayor I will always stand on what’s right and I will always speak because our Community needs to believe in City Officials for once in their life and know that we will work for them and only them as well as keep their wellbeing first always! As Mayor of the City of Winston-Salem, NC I Will Always Speak On Behalf Of The Trenches! I’ll NEVER Give Up On My People! And When I’m Sitting At The Table, I Will Always Represent Them & Always Be Their Voice🗣️

So many of the Black, Hispanic, and even White Men/Women in the community that’s in the streets just need ONE chance. They need someone to believe in them and give them a chance to try it again. We can’t expect them to get a job after being released from prison with felonies on their records because there’s no one hiring felons. Before you say there’s programs for them to get jobs and temp agencies as well, I want you to know those programs are NOT what you think they are. After the temp agency job, What’s next? They go right back to the streets doing the same exact thing that got them put in prison. Then with them being in the streets, here comes gun violence because of jealousy and envy due to the fact that person making more money than me so that person must die or someone gets killed doing other criminal activity.

But if they had a job they love doing and paid them GREAT then we would see the change we’ve been looking for. We need programs that can teach them how to apply for their LLC, We need programs that teach them how to put together their resume, We need programs that give them casual/business clothing for job interviews, We need programs that teach them interview skills, We need the City to use ALL the vacant buildings they have and build jobs that cater to men and women with felonies or misdemeanors on their record instead of building brand new museums and nice little outside patios!

We need to build Community! My job as Mayor will be to make sure that these efforts happen immediately!!!! Everyone deserves a chance🙏🏿 Make sure you VOTE Frankie L. Gist for Mayor so we can have 🙏🏿

One thing about it is that I’ve been out here working since 2015. Everything I do is for the betterment of my Community as a whole. During the era, I saw first hand the power of Unity and the importance of working together no matter if you’re black, white, hispanic, japanese, chinese, purple, green, or blue. I was able to see local “gangs” come together regardless of their differences to stand for each other and fight for equality!! We all must do our part in the community to make our communities a better place to live. I am grateful that God gave me the assignment to serve people and to help others. There’s so much work that needs to be done in the City of Winston-Salem, NC and I believe we can do it together and see the real change that our community deserves and needs. As the NEXT Mayor of the City of Winston-Salem, NC, I will work for EVERYONE in the community and make sure to keep the community first in every decision that comes. It’s time for a 🙏🏿

Since I lost the bet due to my team Duke Men's Basketball being cheated out of their game! SMH. The bet was if we lose, I had to wear UNC Basketball jersey. Let’s just say, I felt like I was out of order today. 🤦🏾‍♂️ It’s all good though!! We still the BEST team!

In 2023, There was 4️⃣7️⃣ Homicides in the City of Winston-Salem, NC. Majority of those Homicides, My team Organization and I worked closely with the Families of Gun Violence Victims to ensure that be served for their love ones. Most of those victims were youth and young adults! As I stated many times before that City Officials and City Leaders must work to provide funding for Organizations to create programs for our youth, young adults, and adults that would help them make better decisions in their lives. And For years NOTHING was done!! ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! We must work together as a community to and Start pushing forward programs such as education, job placement for ALL citizens, unhoused communities, healthcare, senior citizens, and much more.

Our community has a lot to get done and we can do it as long as we work as one to make real and necessary . Let’s continue to pray for the victims and the victims families during this difficult time. Let’s continue to pray for our City and our City Officials that they make the right decisions that will benefit our communities throughout the city. And lastly let’s pray for each other! I Love You All and remember “Love isn’t Love until you give it away” 💜

Today I went to my home Church Greater Higher Ground Ministries to visit and to have my Godmomma Bishop Janice Heath and My Godsister Pastor Bethany Heath lay hands on me as I step into this 🆕 journey of the Mayoral Race. Also - My big brother since day 1️⃣ Youth Pastor Corey spoke into and over my life as well! Then the whole Church stood with me and prayed as well! This was the BEST way to kickoff the New Year and I feeeeeel STRONGER than ever and READY for this journey! Thank you to my Godmomma, My Sister, My Brother, and the entire GHG Family for praying for me and with me. And Thank you for genuinely supporting me through this journey and pushing me through! There’s no place like home and I’m grateful that I can always come home to my family and they genuinely care, show love, and have their arms open to me as well as
My Family! As my Dad Apostle John H. Heath always said “Love isn’t Love until you give it away”❤️ I know he’s proud and smiling big!! The legacy continues through me and I will forever be Apostle John Heath’s Son! And GREATER HIGHER GROUND will always be my Home!

I’m super excited about this journey and I can’t wait to serve my community as the NEXT Mayor of the City of Winston-Salem, NC. It’s Time For A Fresh Start🙏🏿 Let’s work!!! Happy New Year!!! 🎈
