Waxahachie Lake Parks Sunday Update-

The lake parks were enjoyed by several families and friends.
Outstanding job by our Parks Dept, Police and Fire Department keeping cars off the grass, safety, and not permitting overcrowding.

I always enjoy my time as your mayor letting the city workers and first responders know how much they are appreciated. We should be so proud to live in Waxahachie and have top quality staff serving our community.

Waxahachie Lake Park Labor Day Opening Update

Saturday was busy with families enjoying the Labor Day weekend.
Patrol made several traffic stops, issued a few citations, and made an arrest.
Overall, pretty quite with no big issues.
Thank you to our dedicated city employees, including our first responders, that ensured safety for all.

I will give a report for Sunday as well.

Enjoy your Labor Day weekend and holiday with family and friends.

Waxahachie, we don't take for granted the leadership we have. 🧡

Our mayor isn't just a title — she's a public servant in the truest sense. She created the Waxahachie Have It or Need It Facebook group to connect neighbors who have something to give with neighbors who need something — completely free, no strings attached.

And she didn't stop there. She went to bat for CARE Services at the Texas legislative level to get our community the support it needed.

That's what showing up for Waxahachie looks like.

Thank you, Mayor Billie Wallace , for your heart, your hands, and your advocacy. We're honored to serve alongside you.

Another fantastic parade in Waxahacie!! Huge thanks to all that worked so hard on your floats and decor. You all really made it special.
And a big thank you, to all the city staff that set up, took down, cleaned up, and directed traffic to make it a success! Some of these photos are the best I’ve seen taken by others❤️
