Big day today, the Oklahoma Senate confirmed my nomination by Governor Stitt to serve on the Oklahoma Military Court of Appeals. I’m truly honored and humbled to be considered for such a position. Too many people to thank for all the support, but special thanks to the guys I serve with for their trust and confidence, thank you to the Governor for his nomination and support, to Kevinn Matthews for all his help, to all the Oklahoma State Senators, and most importantly to my family for all their continued love and support.

The Courthouse and Family Center for Juvenile Justice will be in operation tomorrow, Friday, February 21st. If your case was previously scheduled for Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, you are required to appear tomorrow. Be advised that extreme cold and lingering ice continue to pose challenges; minimize outdoor activities and proceed with caution when traveling.

Courthouse closed again Thursday…gonna be a real busy Friday… weather permitting.

2.19.25 update- 6:30pm: The Tulsa County Courthouse will remain closed on Thursday, February 20. All other County facilities, including the headquarters building and parks, will delay opening until 10:00am. All facilities will be closing at 5:00pm. The exception is Chandler Park, which may remain closed. Please check the Chandler Park page for updates.

Roads: The sun helped clear some of the snow and ice but refreezing is expected this evening. Crews continue to treat roads, bridges and problem areas.

Temperature: Medical facilities are seeing an increase in exposure and frostbite from the extreme cold. Limit time outdoors and layer up if you must be out. Please check on your neighbors!

2.18.25- 8:30am update- County highway crews continue to brine and sand roadways. They will be working 24/7 shifts through the weather event. Slick roadways are the primary concern right now, especially west and south of Tulsa. Avoid W 51st S near 97 highway as it continues to be a problem area, and use caution on all elevated roadways and hills. Significant snowfall is still expected later today. Stay safe out there Tulsa County!

Updated: The Tulsa County Courthouse will be closed Tuesday, February 18, due to inclement weather. All cases scheduled for today will be heard the next day the courthouse is open. The Headquarters building will be open from 8:00am to 10:30am for the Board of County Commissioners meeting. The Assessor's office and Treasurer's office will be closed all day. Please call ahead if planning to visit any facilities- 918-596-5000.
