About Us

Millennials Moving in Peace is a grassroots political activism organization dedicated to enhancing black lives. MMIP was created by three women Sierra E. Leshae, Rae Scrivens, and Javonna Wylie. The three women came together with the shared passion of black lives after the murders and untimely deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Bianca Roberson, Ahmaud Arbery, and the many others who were slain and or never received true justice.

MMIP aims to bring awareness to systemic racism, social injustice and police brutality, with an emphasis on happenings in suburban or rural counties. We educate black allies through authentic black voices and providing knowledge on privilege, allies and developing new social practices that are based on truth. MMIP also participates in philanthropy and creates service opportunities for black individuals and black allies to unite. MMIP also believes in partnership and encourages anyone of interest to contact us at [email protected].

**Our mantra, “All Black Lives Matter” empowers us to focus efforts on black lives of all backgrounds.**
