Thank you to our families and students who came out today for the MLK Day of Service! Our students prepared snack bags for The Giving Tree, an organization dedicated to teaching children to give back to their community. The snack bags will be donated to local nursing care facilities.
A huge thanks to Mrs. Verbovszky, Mrs. McLaughlin and our Student Council for organizing this event for our school. ❤️🦈

This fall, we received the most thoughtful and meaningful gift! The Briggs Family, who have had all 4 children (Molly, Adam, Lucy & Connor) go through Shamona, took all of their old SC shirts (that spanned across many years) and made them into the most beautiful quilt! The quilt now hangs in a special place in our school and the shirts included represent so many memories for our staff. ❤️🦈 THANK YOU to the Briggs Family for this very special gift for our school.

Thank you to all of our students and families who donated to the food drive! Our Student Council organized all of the food items and dropped them off at the VA hospital this morning! Special thanks to Mrs. McLaughlin and Mrs. Verbovszky for all the time they put into our Student Council and for providing these awesome learning experiences for our students.

Amazing news...our Harper Adams has made a remarkable recovery and has been discharged from Boston Children's Hospital! To celebrate her and to welcome her back we are planning on doing a car parade. Meet at Shamona, tomorrow (Wednesday) at 11:45 for the car parade for Harper!!! We will be leaving the parking lot promptly at noon. The plan is to drive by her house and honk to welcome her home. We also will be displaying yard signs tomorrow too.

For Monday, to welcome her back to school, we are asking that everyone wears red, hot pink or something fancy/glittery/sparkly - all of Harper's favorites.

THANK YOU, Shamona Families, for all of your support for Harper and Family!

🩷💞💗💝💖
