Gangs Out of Downey Gangs Out of Downey works to keep Downey a gang-free community. Meetings the first Tuesday of every month, 7:30 am, at City Hall. Gangs Out of Downey (G.O.O.D.)

strives to involve the entire community in the prevention of youth gang activity. The people of Downey never want to be in a position of having to reclaim the streets and parks of our city. G.O.O.D. unifies local government, business, schools, civic organizations, and residents in this effort.

Thank you to all our supporters to making the annual Ricky Galvez Scholarship Gala a success. Funds raised from Our Golf tournaments, luncheons and other fundraisers allowed us to give 7 scholarships last week. These scholarships will tremendously help these seniors to further their education and encourage them to succeed! 👏 🧑‍🎓
