The City of Dover raised the Pride flag in front of City Hall on Wednesday, June 10, during a ceremony led by Mayor Dennis Shanahan, who also read a proclamation recognizing June as LGBTQ+ Pride Month.
The ceremony was attended by city officials and community members, including City Councilors Bret Carmichael, Richard Robison and April Richer; Committee for Racial Equity and Inclusion members José Feliciano, who read Dover's land acknowledgment, and Maggie Fogarty, who also serves on the School Board; School Board member Elizabeth Goldman; state Rep.
