We want you to know we see you out there men! We know you are struggling to just do life, we know you don’t share those struggles with your wives or significant others because you don’t want to burden them, or don’t want to seem weak or that you have failed in some way!
You return home from work and say “it wasn’t too bad” when ask about your day even though you had to deal with criticism or lazy co-workers! We see you men, trying to hold it all together but good news! You don’t have to suffer, there are resources for you, people you can talk to that you won’t burden because its their job to listen! There are resources to help you… you just need to take the most difficult step and reach out! Don’t let your worries cause you any more grief!
If nobody has told you lately men, you matter and you too are enough…

Whether you support this bill or not, the new law goes into effect July 1, and contrary to beliefs, people are addicted to and overdosing on Kratom and its derivatives.
If you are or if know someone who is a consistent user of Kratom please do not hesitate to reach out and ask for help. We can direct you to centers for detox and treatment.

Kratom will be banned from store shelves in Tennessee starting July 1 after lawmakers branded the substance “gas station heroin.”

BLOCK PARTY SUCCESS!!
So thankful for a staff that enjoys event planning!

Thank you to each and every person that braved the dunk tank yesterday! Idk know how many times Vince Gray dunked me but ya know what they say about payback!
A Big Thanks to our candidates and proxies

Monica made sure everyone paid before dunking since it was a fund raiser, Sheriff Gray not only had to go to a wedding reception afterward but some how managed to dunk himself!
Jody was on duty so his cousin Haley took one for the team, Jonathan stood in for Natalie as she has a bit of a fear of water, David Ross had a good time splashing everyone outside the tank every time he went under, our National Guardsman had a great conversation with newcomer Chris Hartigan, who went under a few times, Vince’s grandchildren were ready to dunk paw paw and Mitchell Burkhart had the longest line of folks waiting to dunk him!
Ya’ll watch out for the throwing arm of Ms Mary Smith and her mother Sharon they were the real MVP’s
Though for some reason, spouses and significant others never took a jab at their candidate… whats up with THAT?!?!? 😊

And somehow, when I got in, the team decided it was a great time to run a “special” instead of 3 balls for $10.00 it was 5.
Good news though we raised $500 toward our van still have quite a bit to go so if you couldnt make it and would like to donate toward it let one of us know!

All in all we had a fun evening, the children really enjoyed the activities, the band The 1980 was fantastic, candidates got to visit with folks, Ninnie’s Farmhouse Foodtruck had some great food, our vendors braved the chance of rain and people were just smiling and having a good time!

Also, I would be remiss without mentioning a giant thanks to David Cheatham for the use of the property a great central location as we all found out during Eaglefest!
Thank you again to Capt. Crockarell and the Town of Dover as well!

Also on a different note please keep the owners of Sweet Jordans food truck in your prayers as they had a family member with some heath issues and couldnt make it!

Thanks again I look forward to the next one!
