š”ļø As temperatures climb across Delaware this week, the heat can quickly become more than just uncomfortable - it can become dangerous.
At The Salvation Army Delaware, we believe no one should have to choose between staying cool and paying the bills. Thatās why our Corps Community Centers are open to the public as cooling stations, providing a safe place to escape the heat, enjoy cold water, and find relief during this weekās heatwave.
Whether youāre facing rising energy costs, spending time outdoors, or simply need a break from the extreme temperatures, our doors are open and youāre welcome here.
Please check on your neighbors, stay hydrated, and take extra care of seniors, children, and anyone who may be vulnerable to the heat.
When the heat doesnāt let up, neither do we. ā¤ļø
