Volunteer Delaware Division of Historical & Cultural Affairs Join the Delaware Division of Historical & Cultural Affairs to help save Delaware's history! If so, then Volunteer Delaware DHCA is looking for you!

Are you interested in a rewarding opportunity that has a lasting impact on your community? Do you want to help bring Delaware's historical and cultural legacy to life? No matter where you passion lies, we offer a variety of volunteer positions for you! Volunteer Opportunities:
~Research of Delaware history and culture
~The opportunity to become a Living History Interpreter or Museum Guide
~Help w

ith special events such as Old Dover Days, A Day in Old New Castle, Chautauqua in Lewes, and the Colonial Faire at the John Dickinson Plantation, plus many more
~Assist staff with entering data and cataloging electronic documents for an index of historical properties in Delaware
~Assist Horticulture team with gardening and landscaping
~Assist in Archaeological field or lab work
~Support out Maintenance team in restoring and preserving some of Delaware's historical structures
~Assist with the preservation of Historic Collections
~Administrative office support
~Photographing historic sites
~Join one of our many Friends groups
**Opportunities are available for individuals and groups

Need school credit or an internship? Contact our Volunteer Coordinator and we can work with you and your school or college to meet your needs.
