Dover is located in SE Minnesota conveniently located between Rochester and Winona, nestled between Eyota and St. The 2010 census shows a population of 735 people in a community which is served by US Highway 14 to the north and Interstate 90 to the south and Olmsted County 10 and 142 dissecting the community. Today Dover is a mixture of old and new developments with a small town charm.

Today the city had installed a water tower tank mixer. The tank mixer is submerged in the water and designed to stir the water to keep it a more even temperature. This will primarily be used in the winter months to reduce the ice buildup which traps water and makes it stale. We hope this will further improve and continue to provide our safe quality water supply.
