Thank you for taking the time to check out our page! We’re the Dover Police Department - in Tennessee! If you’re looking for Dover Delaware, New Jersey, Minnesota, Arkansas, Florida, Ohio, Vermont, Massachusetts, Pennsyvania or any other state, you’re in the wrong place but take a moment to say hello anyways!

Our department currently consists of 4 sworn officers serving a population of approximately 1,417 residents. Dover is a city in and the county seat of Stewart County Tennessee. 67 miles west-northwest of Nashville on the Cumberland River which is home to many fisherman at any given time.

Fort Donelson, the site of a major Union victory in the Civil War, is located West of downtown Dover and located inside Fort Donelson National Battlefield Park. Dover is also one of the entryways into the Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area.
