As National Friends of Libraries Week ends, we wanted to do a huge shout out to Friends of the Dover Public Library NH!

This amazing group of dedicated volunteers funds our museum passes, summer reading activities, and many of the free lectures you attend throughout the year!

Right now they are working tirelessly to help us raise funds to provide furnishings and equipment that were not included in the budget of the renovation.

So thank you, Friends! We appreciate all you do and couldn't have asked for a more thoughtful, compassionate, innovative and caring group of Friends!

📚 Help Us Write the Next Chapter📚

The Dover Public Library is undergoing a much-needed renovation—and we need funding for furnishings like shelves, seating, and other essentials that bring our library to life.

That’s where you come in.

The Friends of the Dover Public Library have launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for these finishing touches—things that turn a library into a welcoming, inspiring space for readers, learners, and families across our city.

Whether you can give $5 or $500, every donation helps ensure Dover’s library remains a vibrant, accessible space for all. Please share and donate if you’re able. Together, we can help write the next chapter. 💚

Please share and help spread the word!
