Managing pastures during and after drought is critical for protecting your forage resources, maintaining livestock health, and ensuring long-term recovery. Strategic steps such as reducing stocking pressure, preventing overgrazing, exploring alternative forages, controlling weeds, and safeguarding water quality can make a significant difference in both immediate resilience and future productivity.

The Tuscarawas Soil & Water Conservation District is providing producers with resources and a detailed drought management fact sheet to help guide these important decisions.
