*** Power Outage ***

Please be advised that there is a temporary power outage in the northwest portion of Dover due to a both a downed power line and downed utility pole.

The Electric Field department has dispatched crews and they are working to restore power as quickly as possible.

The City of Dover extends a heartfelt thank you to the Dover Exchange Club for their incredibly generous donation of $45,500. Thanks to this wonderful gift, we were able to add a brand-new picnic shelter at Dover City Park located next to the pickleball and bocce courts for everyone to enjoy!

The Dover City Park concession stand will open today, April 6th, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm!

The concession stand offers various grill items, ice cream, candy, chips and soda and will be open Monday - Friday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, weather permitting. The concession stand will close if the games scheduled within the park are canceled.

Please stop by and enjoy a sandwich or snack! Please remember that the concession stand accepts cash only.

UPDATE - The repair is complete and the road is open.

*** Public Service Announcement - Water Line Repair and Road Closure ***

Please be advised that Tuscarawas Avenue, between West 3rd Street and Slingluff Avenue, will be closed tomorrow, June 16th, from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM for a water line repair.

Detours will be posted for through traffic, and local residents will have full access to their homes. Please be mindful of our crews working in the area.
