We want to extend a sincere and heartfelt thank you to the three incredible donors who donated to sponsor the DCH golf team for our tournament! 💚

Within 24 hours, our community pulled through and made this happen for one of our youth. This is just one of many demonstrations of how devoted our community is to our mission and youth.

⛳️ WE’RE FULL! NOW WE’RE LOOKING FOR ONE SPECIAL SPONSOR.

Our 18th Annual Dover Children’s Home Golf Tournament is officially FULL, pending one final sponsor - and we are so grateful! But we’d love to fill one more spot in a very different way.

We’re looking for a $800 DCH Team Sponsor to help a Level 1 Independent Living youth participate in this year’s tournament.

Here’s why this opportunity means so much...

This young man has recently discovered a love of golf. Thanks to an incredibly generous donor, he’s been able to take private lessons at Cochecho Country Club, and his mentor has made sure he can get to those lessons and keep practicing.

Now, he’s SO excited about the possibility of playing in our tournament - not just because he loves golf, but because he gets to be part of something special with supportive staff and people in his life, and we want to make that happen, with the help of our community.

🌟 Join Us for TBRI® Training! 🌟

Dover Children’s Home is offering a three-day Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI) training for anyone who works with or cares for children and youth who have experienced trauma or adversity.

TBRI is especially valuable for educators, clinicians, social workers, residential and foster care staff, caregivers, mentors, and other youth-serving professionals. Participants will gain practical tools to build trust, strengthen relationships, understand trauma-related behaviors, support emotional regulation, and promote healing and resilience.

📅 September 22-24
⏰ 9:00 AM–3:00 PM | 16 hours of training
💲 $150 per person

Are you a local family, youth group, sports team, scout troop, church group, or just a family looking for a meaningful way to give back? Consider providing dinner for the young people at Dover Children’s Home.

Our Meal Train makes it super easy to get involved. Simply choose a date that works best for you, and we provide all the information you need - including some of the favorite foods of the young people who live here! 🥘🍕🌮

And the best part? Our Meal Train is now updated through the end of 2026! That means September–December dates are all ready and waiting for sign-ups.

It’s a simple way to make a big difference - and a great opportunity to get young people involved in doing something kind for their community. Shared meals help create a sense of normalcy, connection, and community for the youth we serve. A meal donated by a local family or group reminds them that people in their community care about them and want to support them.

Help Us Create “Home Sweet Home”! 🏡

One of our Level 1 Independent Living youth is getting ready for a BIG and exciting transition - within the next couple of months, she will successfully transition from Dover Children’s Home and move into her very own apartment! 🎉

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our local community, we’ve already received bedroom furniture, a kitchen table, and many of the essentials she’ll need to get started. But there are still a few needed items and things missing to help make her new space feel warm, cozy, and uniquely hers.

Her favorite color is yellow (in case you couldn’t tell from her wish list! 💛), and we wanted to give her the opportunity to choose items that reflect her personality and make her new apartment truly feel like home.

If you’d like to help, please take a look at the top wish list items and consider purchasing something for her new space. Any items purchased will be sent directly to Dover Children’s Home and given to her as she prepares for this exciting next chapter.
