Good Wednesday Morning,

Today will be the transition day: Above normal temperatures can be expected in the south with partly to mostly sunny skies, while the north will see cloudy and showery conditions with below normal temperatures. This will set the stage for cool and showery conditions expected through the end of the week and through the weekend.

Temperatures will run below normal beginning tomorrow continuing through Sunday. A soaking rain is possible for southern and western areas late Friday night and into Saturday. Minimum temperatures dropping into the middle to upper 30s may bring a small chance for patchy frost to northern areas by week's end.

Communication on the road is essential. Riders and cyclists use hand signals to indicate turns, stops, and hazards, especially if lights fail. Among bikers, two fingers pointed toward the road is the traditional “biker wave,” meaning “keep two wheels on the ground” and wishing fellow riders a safe journey. Know these signals, stay alert, and always prioritize safety while riding and driving.
