Sunday will feature high temperatures in the low to mid 80s across Western Nebraska, with upper 60s expected west of the I-25 corridor. Late afternoon showers and thunderstorms will be confined to Niobrara, Sioux, and Dawes counties, with most other areas remaining dry.

A shortwave puts us right back into severe thunderstorm chances on Monday. SPC has issued a Slight Risk (level 2 out of 5) where all hazards are possible. Mainly in the southern panhandle is the risk of tornadoes, large hail, and severe wind the highest. The overall risk area for large hail and severe winds is the same.

Temperatures will range from the 60's and 70's west of I-25 and 70's to 80's east of I-25. Strong to Severe storms will be possible this afternoon and evening mainly east of the I-25 corridor. Large hail with tornadoes possible mainly in the Nebraska Panhandle this evening! High Winds will kick up overnight into Sunday Morning before gradually dying down in the afternoon. May 28th, 4:30PM - Isolated to scattered severe thunderstorms are possible Saturday afternoon where there is a Slight Risk (Level 2 of 5) for severe weather. At this time, large hail and damaging winds appear to be the primary threats. Storms are expected between 3PM and 11PM Saturday with showers and weaker storms potentially continuing into the overnight hours.

8PM 5/27 - Chances for PM showers and thunderstorms will tick up a notch on Friday to between 30 and 70%. In addition, a few isolated storms will have the potential to become strong to severe. The primary hazards are lightning, gusty winds, isolated hail, and locally heavy rainfall.

8PM 5/27 - Here's a look at the forecast for Thursday! Expect partly to mostly cloudy skies once again with mild temperatures and a chance for a few isolated showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon hours. Probabilities for rainfall range from 10 to 40% across the area.

May 27th, 3PM - Here’s a look at the upcoming forecast for the weekend through the start of the week! We have daily chances for isolated to scattered showers and storms across the area through at least Wednesday of next week. Currently, we have a Marginal Risk (Level 1 of 5) for severe weather on Friday, with the primary concerns being strong winds from wet microbursts and the possibility of accumulating small hail. We will continue to monitor this threat over the next few days. Comfortable and warm weather is anticipated daily, with highs largely remaining in the 70s and low-80s everywhere.

Similar to Tuesday, Wednesday's outlook features scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms for places along and west of I-25. Elsewhere partly cloudy skies and warm conditions can be expected.
