We invite our community to join us June 18th, for a benefit fundraiser supporting one of our own as their child courageously battles cancer. Childhood cancer is a cause that holds a special place in our hearts. Through our annual Going for the Gold 5K and ongoing support of local families, we have seen firsthand the strength, resilience, and hope displayed by children and families facing this fight.

All proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly to the family to help ease the financial burdens that often accompany treatment, travel, and daily expenses during this difficult journey.

We ask that you come out, show your support, and help us rally around this family. Together, we can make a meaningful difference and remind them that they do not walk this road alone.

Thank you for your generosity, your prayers, and your support.

From overseeing administration and support services to serving as Fire Marshal and mentor to countless firefighters, his impact on this department and this city will be felt for years to come.

Please join us in thanking Deputy Chief Etheredge for his remarkable career and wishing him and his family nothing but the best in retirement.

Yesterday, we had the privilege of honoring the people behind moments that changed lives forever, from the bystander whose quick call for help set everything into motion, to every first responder whose training, teamwork, and courage made survival possible. Every action mattered. Every second counted. And because ordinary people chose to act in extraordinary moments, lives were saved.
