We announced to the students today that Highlands Elementary School Dothan is getting a BRAND NEW PLAYGROUND!! 🎉

A new playground will be installed this summer, and we are SO excited for Highlands Elementary! This would not have been possible without our amazing principal, Beth Bouchard, who encouraged our MANY fundraisers and supported the vision from the beginning. A huge thank you goes to Ann-marie Sullivan for giving 12 years of service to Highlands, and getting this massive project underway! This would not have happened without her!

And the biggest thank you goes to the many, many Highlands parents and families who donated money, countless hours, and so much energy to support our school. This truly was a team effort, and so happy to say WE DID IT!!

It’s been an incredible year at Highlands Elementary! We are so excited for the brand new playground coming this summer!

Thank you to all of our parents, guardians, families, staff, and community supporters who helped make this dream a reality for our school. Your support, generosity, and countless volunteer hours made such a lasting impact.

We can’t wait to celebrate together! Be sure to join us for the playground ribbon cutting at the end of the summer! (Check social media this summer for the date)

Thank you for helping make Teacher Appreciation Week so special for our amazing teachers and staff! Today they are enjoying a Chick-fil-A lunch, and the soda bar has definitely been a favorite this week!

We truly appreciate all the support, donations, and kindness shown to our school and teachers. Thank you for helping us celebrate the incredible staff at Highlands Elementary!

It’s hard to believe we are almost to the end of the school year! Our final event of the year will be teacher appreciation week! Let’s show our wonderful teachers how much we appreciate their hard work and dedication each week!
