For over 40 years, we have helped women and men with unplanned pregnancies in the Wiregrass area. We provide a safe place to discuss your options of abortion, parenting, and adoption. Through the years, we have added support through parenting and additional pregnancy services. You can also take advantage of our marriage and individual counseling. Your story and your needs are important to us. We a

re supported by individuals, churches, and the local community, which allows us to provide our services free of charge. We are an affiliate of Care Net, an organization that supports one of the country’s largest networks of pregnancy centers. We are a faith-based organization, and our commitment to you is that we treat each client with dignity and respect regardless of ethnicity, economic status, religion, sexual orientation, or political beliefs. Our staff and volunteers serve people from every cultural and religious background, and 99 percent of our clients report they would recommend us to a friend.

Join us in welcoming Athena Johnson to our staff as our new Director of Finance and Donor Relations! We are excited to have her on the team!

Athena was born in South Florida and raised in the Wiregrass area. A graduate of Ashford High School, she went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Troy University. With over 20 years of experience in Accounting and Finance, Athena brings extensive knowledge and dedication to her work. She and her husband, a firefighter with the Dothan Fire Department, are members of Covenant Methodist Church in Dothan.

So far this year, our staff and volunteers have had the opportunity to share the Gospel with our clients 448 times! Praise the Lord! 🤍

We are so thankful to not only help meet physical needs in our community, but also point people to our greatest hope found in Christ. Please continue praying for our clients, that the seeds being planted would grow and lead to abundant, forever life found in Christ.

We’re praising God for 32 lives saved so far this year! 🤍

Please join us in praying that the Lord continues to bring abortion-vulnerable women to Wiregrass Hope and gives our staff wisdom, compassion, and strength as they love and counsel each client. Pray that more lives will be saved and hearts will be transformed.

For the last 4 years, Sonya has served as our Financial Director and has been an absolute joy to work alongside every day.

While we’re sad to see her leave, we are thankful for the years she's served at Wiregrass Hope and we’re excited for her as she steps into her new role at Wiregrass Foundation serving nonprofits across our community - which means we'll still get to see her around! We wish you the best, Sonya! 🤍
