This past weekend, DTFD was able to get gather together and look back on 2025 and celebrate our accomplishments. We look forward to this time together, when we all can take time out of our normal day to day schedules and just hang out together for an evening.

We also award our Firefighter of the Year, and are pleased to share that Matt Rubick has earned this honor for 2025!

From Chief Fordham:

"Matt is a great additional to our department. He has an eagerness to learn and a willingness to listen. He completed his MFR training shortly after finishing the Fire Academy and continues to always put his training to use, and is all in for whatever the fire department throws his way. We could not be more proud of Matt and his achievements so far!"
