Borough of Dormont Recreation Board The Recreation Board plans and executes events in the Borough and is made up of community members. LinkTree: https://linktr.ee/DormontRec

This board functions in an advisory capacity to determine the amounts and kinds of recreation most needed by the citizens. They coordinate the use of Borough facilities and develop future recreation programs. The Recreation Board meets on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 in the Borough Building. Meetings are open to the public. Board Members:

The Recreation Board plans and executes community events in the Borough. Some examples include Cookies with Santa, the Story Stroll, the annual Easter Egg Hunt, and the Movie in the Park series. The Recreation Board also helps with Borough sponsored events such as the Dormont Dash, and organizes the Kid Zone during the Dormont Street and Music Fest. The Recreation Board also functions in an advisory capacity to Borough Council with regards to future recreation events.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who participated, voted, and helped light up our borough this season. With 38 registered houses and an amazing 459 votes, Dormont truly showed its holiday spirit!
