Mrs. Connor’s Health Science students got a hands-on look at just how easily germs can transfer! 🦠🧤
During this infection control lesson, students participated in an interactive activity that demonstrated how contamination can spread from one surface (or person) to another. The experience helped students visualize why proper infection-control procedures are so important in healthcare settings.
Students also practiced reinforcing key safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), proper glove use, hand hygiene, and preventing cross-contamination. Experiences like this help turn classroom concepts into real-world skills our future healthcare professionals can carry with them into the workplace. 💙

Thank you to Todd Firth from WyoTech for visiting our campus twice over the past week to speak with students about the training and career opportunities available through WyoTech!

Located in Laramie, Wyoming, WyoTech offers accelerated, hands-on training in Auto Tech, Collision, Diesel Tech and Welding. Students can complete a program in 9 months.

WyoTech also has a connection to our own campus. Auto Tech instructor Joey Bivens earned his diesel certificate there! We appreciate Mr. Firth taking the time to share these opportunities with our students. WyoTech- Laramie WyoTech Recruiting

September is Workforce Development Month, and the timing couldn’t be better! Most of our students have completed their OSHA 10 certification and required safety training and are now in the shops, ready to put their skills to work. 💪🏽

Congratulations to our FFA chapter for winning this grant! They will utilize the funds to build a chicken coop. Be sure and check back for updates!

Congratulations to this years Grants for Growing Chapter Winners. This is a competitive grant program for middle and high school FFA chapters that are developing and improving project-based or experiential learning opportunities for students. Grants for Growing is sponsored by Tractor Supply and the National FFA.
