Say it louder for the students in the back.

In a field obsessed with scores and rankings, Doctor Akhouri reminds us of something harder to measure but so much more important: giving yourself grace. Your grades matter for learning. Your worth? That's a completely different number. And it's infinite.

Reading is where it starts. Before the scholarships, the careers, the big rooms she'll walk into one day, there's a girl, a book, and someone who believed she could.

This International Literacy Day, we're celebrating every girl learning that her voice matters and her future is hers to write.

Behind every scholarship and every mentor hour is someone who chose to give.

On this International Day of Charity, we're grateful for the donors, volunteers, and mentors who invest in the women of tomorrow. Want to be one of them? There's always room for one more.

This is what a whole community showing up looks like. 🎓✨

In metro Detroit, more than 1,000 young women took part in our program this year, from over 50 schools, with over 100 mentors there for them all year long. 98% graduated high school, and we awarded 36 scholarships totaling nearly $170,000. The numbers are worth celebrating, but they aren't the full picture. Each girl left knowing how capable she is, and that she isn't doing it alone.

The best callings find you. ✨

From behind the bar to inside the classroom, Brigitte Lynn, Women of Tomorrow School Coordinator at William T. McFatter Technical High School, spent years making sure students had a real plan for what comes next. Quiet, steady, generational impact.

We couldn't be prouder of Brigitte, who has been named BRACE Advisor of the Year by the Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, a title she is more than worthy of. This is exactly the kind of woman we love to celebrate.

This is where it all started. 💛

South Florida is home to our largest community, and this year more than 3,000 young women took part across Miami Dade, Broward and Palm Beach. With over 200 mentors showing up in their lives, 99% of them graduated high school. The numbers only tell part of the story. The real win is the moment a girl starts to believe in herself.

It is with great sadness that I inform you of the passing of Judge Judith Kreeger, a Founding Mentor and Board Member of Women of Tomorrow Mentor & Scholarship Program.

Judge Kreeger was among the core 23 women who formed the foundation of our organization back in 1997, and her contributions to our students and our organization over the years were incredibly meaningful, both to our program and to me personally.

Judge Kreeger served as a circuit judge and later senior judge in the 11th Judicial Circuit for over 25 years, primarily in the Family Division. She was one of only 4 judges who represented the United States as a member of the International Hague Network of Judges, working to facilitate international recognition and enforcement of family law agreements.

More than that, she was a dedicated, compassionate judge who spent much of her life achieving things that most women of her generation dared not even dream of. She knew firsthand the challenges of being the only professional woman in a room full of men and was always eager and willing to pass on the lessons she learned to a new generation.

Judge Kreeger spent 15 years as a mentor and scholarship committee member, in 2003 was named our Mentor of the Year, and frequently invited Women of Tomorrow mentees into her courtroom, teaching them that the family court system was there for them not against them.

I will always remember the young Women of Tomorrow mentee who came to me after a field trip to Judy’s courtroom, expressing her shock that the family court was there to help her and not hurt her, as she had been taught. It changed her entire perspective of not only the legal system, but of law enforcement in general. Those are the moments that change the future of a young woman’s life.

Judge Kreeger is survived by her three sons Abram, David, and Daniel, her brother Paul, and grandchildren Ilana, Addison and Andy, as well as the many Women of Tomorrow graduates she mentored. She will be deeply missed by all of us whose lives she touched.

Funeral services are August 30th, 10:30am at Riverside Gordon Memorial Chapels.

With Deepest sympathy to her family and friends,

Jennifer Valoppi, Founder & President

The habit you skip this summer is the grade you lose in the fall.

Mentor Chloe Castro's prep before freshman year starts with one thing: manage yourself. No one's reminding you of deadlines anymore. Use a calendar. Set your alarms. Build the habits now, before they cost you. Then learn how your money actually moves, and get comfortable being on your own.

To the women of tomorrow, from the women of today. 🌟

Our Women of Sports Summit throwback was a full day of real talk and behind-the-scenes moments at a Marlins game. Women who've built careers in sports shared how they got there, from unexpected beginnings to the advice that kept them going. Our girls came curious and left thinking bigger, which is exactly the point.
