We had a volunteer come in and organize the seed catalogue. It’s ready to go for your 🌱 How does it work? You come to the Library and head out to the — you can bring seeds to exchange or take seeds to start a home garden. 🪴 This is a free program offered to everyone in Valley County. Today, Miss Sherry played in the dirt at Donnelly Elementary. Fridays as a reward for success the students get to participate in PACE. There was Marble racing, extra recess and yes Dirt Camp with Miss Sherry. We got dirty!

We often get questions about property taxes in Valley County. We also get several budget questions. This article from Valley County Idaho is very helpful.
Our Trustees are elected and are autonomous and hold control of the District, but the County is our tax collector.

Yes- Her name is Monica! She is our new copy machine. We have had a little guy since we opened 8 years ago. Then we got a big guy donated from Perpetua, but it only printed and did not scan or copy. We called her Bertha and recently she made us question her loyalties. We have officially moved on and have welcomed Monica to our team. To everyone in the last month that we have said no to, come back in and let us PRINT for you. 🖨️ We are printing up to 5 pages FREE 🆓 until Friday just so we can really get to know her. Special thanks to for helping out the Library and giving us a great deal.

We are so blessed to have such a great community. The Visit Donnelly Idaho Egg Hunt was a success. We gave out over 400 books in our thanks to Friends Of The Donnelly Library and Book it Forward Idaho.

We have not named her yet, but we have a new lady at the Library ready to work. She is ready to scan and copy. Airel got her all ready to go today. Of course it is a tight fit and we need a bigger Library, but unfortunately we needed a new printer and could no longer put it off. She is pretty.

Get ready for the Donnelly Easter Egg Hunt

Join us for a fun-filled morning at the Donnelly Chamber Community Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 4 at 11:00 AM at Donnelly Elementary School.

This year we’re adding something new: the Donnelly Golden Egg Passport. Passports will be available at Western Larch Interiors, at the egg hunt and also sent home with DES and Mountain Community School students. All are welcome and encouraged to participate!

Families and community members can take their passport to participating local businesses, collect stamps, and enter to win a Donnelly Golden Egg Basket filled with items from our local business community. Passports can be completed through April 10 and must be turned in by end of day at Western Larch Interiors.
