The Great, Good, Bad, & Ugly. In order to get the Village of Dolton, IL on track and PROSPERING you need to see and know it all. Every closet needs to be cleaned, every grave needs to be dug up, open up all the books and trust me - it’s going to hurt, it hurts right now but this struggle is necessary for our future victories! But we’re missing one very important part, and that is YOU! Six Trustees, One Clerk, and One Mayor can not do it alone. WE the RESIDENTS, THE VOTERS, the TAXPAYERS by a majority decision elected these fellow 8 residents to lead the village. Question is, are they doing the job you hired them to do? If they are, support them, encourage them but if their not tell them, make calls, write letters, tell somebody that can tell somebody else and if nothing changes you must utilize your most powerful weapon: on TUESDAY FEBRUARY 23, 2021 FIRE THEM! IN FEBRUARY of 2025, FIRE THEM! It’s that simple. If i was an elected official i would say and expect the same from those i was hired to serve.

Congratulations to the Trustees-Elect. I pray you do you and provide for Dolton with integrity and accountability. Even though I did not find victory tonight I’ve learned many things during this journey and I sincerely appreciate the support I’ve received. Residents in the Village of Dolton don’t ask for much but we should expect a higher standard when it comes to those that represent us. The fight is far from over. I won’t be back because I’m not leaving. Dolton still needs it champions.

The question I’ve received the most during this campaign wasn’t about street lights, new curbs, water bills or taxes. It was “Are you going to do what you say you’re going to when get in office?” Residents of Dolton are tired of the lies and politricks and stagnant behavior of past and current leadership. We need new representation that truly represents us! Today is the last day to early vote at South Suburban College. Today and tomorrow on Election Day please punch #7 for myself and #8 for Kevin Boens. True Change

Yesterday one resident told me that she wasn’t going to vote in this election. She was tired of hearing the same empty promises. I stood and talked to her through the door for about 5 minutes explaining to her something I knew she already knew - voters aren’t ignorant, but yet I still felt the need to encourage her. I left her porch, and as soon as I crossed the street she came outside and yelled for me to come back. She said, “I would not have even opened the door let alone called you back if I didn’t look at your literature and saw that you were a different face from all the rest. The same people keep coming around but nothing gets done.” Her words are specifically one of the reasons why I’m running to be Trustee in Dolton. It’s appalling and outright disrespectful to those you were chosen to serve - by those you were chosen to serve - to not do your job or continue to make excuses for it not being done.

Fellow residents of Dolton, I’m implore you to go out and vote. This election, as any election, will determine who represents you. It will determine the resources that will or won’t come to the Village. It will determine if you get a response when you call the water department or public works. This election will determine who will either add to or take away from your quality of life in Dolton. So much time and effort is being spent on attacking, and disrespecting and dividing that we can’t work to solve the real issues that affect you everyday in the Village. Enough is Enough! I humbly ask that you elect myself by punching #7 and #8 for Kevin Boens. We have the ability, competence, & maturity to work with any trustee and mayor to truly move Dolton forward. We will do the job that isn’t being done. We will communicate with you and together we will make the tough decisions in the best interest of Dolton.
