Last night we held our monthly training which was the inservice of our brand new lifting air bags. Thank you to Jerome Fire equipment . These tools all though not used everyday are a very useful tool in our toolbox. In these pictures we demonstrated how they can be used to lift a school bus off of a victim.

Today, we received new equipment for our tool box. We extend our gratitude to Jerome Fire Equipment and our Board of Commissioners for acquiring a new air bag system and additional composite cribbing, which enhance our ability to stabilize vehicles or machinery. These air bags augment our lifting capabilities, enabling us to respond effectively to various rescue scenarios. Further training updates and pictures will follow.

Dolgeville Fire Department along with the Southern Adirondack Fire Prevention team spent the day at Dolgville Central School High School doing firefighter combat challenge. Thanks to everyone who participated, it was a fun day.
