It’s hot out there—make sure you’re taking steps to stay cool and safe!
Drink plenty of water, take breaks in the shade or air conditioning, and try to plan outdoor activities for the cooler parts of the day. Don’t forget to check on friends, neighbors, and pets, too—they feel the heat just like we do!
If you’re working or spending time outside, be sure to pace yourself and listen to your body. And remember—never leave children or pets in a parked vehicle, even for a short time.
Stay cool, stay safe, and take care of one another!

It’s garage sale season! We know several communities are hosting city-wide sales this weekend, and many of you are out hunting for great finds.
As you put up signs to spread the word, here’s a quick reminder—power poles aren’t bulletin boards. Posting signs on poles can create safety hazards for utility crews and get in the way of important maintenance work.
Help us keep our lineworkers safe by leaving poles free of signs, staples, and nails. We appreciate your help looking out for them!
