A Call to Action....
Another semester has started, time to start anew, but only do we start anew. The world is still going around the sun, and the United States is still growing and working to support the American people each day. However, has every citizen done their part? We have no upcoming elections as of yet, but why should we hold ourselves contempt only to wait for when the voting booths open—surely, we must be able to strive for the same American quality of life that so many have fought for. For I, as well as every American knows, that our founding fathers did not commit treason by declaring independence from Great Britain; only to have us squander the freedoms generations before us had. It is up to us to continue the longevity of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness we cling to dearly each day we breathe the air of luscious freedom.
“Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery?” When Patrick Henry said this, he may have been talking to the colonists’ long ago, yet it echoes and is burned in my heart—as it is in all of mankind’s heart in history. We need to act against all forms of injustice, not only as voters to elect those members of Congress, but as the American citizens who created government and can tell it how to act. We must, in unison, create another united front against the evils that lie both abroad and here in our own beloved United States of America. It is time to ante-up and accept that our lives, with America as we know it today, is Heaven on Earth; without America, we are useless creatures and will only know the chaos and evil of Anarchy. I would rather die now, serving as a Patriotic Citizen for the United States of America under God and our beautiful Stars and Stripes, before I chose to live as a mindless machine for what was the United States under a foreign flag and a government that enslaves the former-American people with tyranny and dictatorship.
It is time now to put away our own problems or say that we are content in our own world, while it is tearing itself apart. Therefore, we need to act swiftly and assuredly, otherwise our American civilization will falter and cease to exist. We must conserve and preserve our American way of life, not for ourselves and not for the year 2019, but for our descendants who will be here long after we have turned to God and thanked Him for our long and happy lives in America today. This issue is a great one, no man can conquer it alone, thus we must form ranks and conquer it with the same American Spirit showed many a time in our great history of our country.
It is with this in our minds and our hearts that I ask you to pledge yourself to the DC3 College Republicans and help conserve our way of life today for those unborn Americans to come tomorrow. It is our honor to perform such a duty as to protect one’s country and allow us to become rich in the knowledge of politics; or, we shall fall down the same rabbit hole of angry partisanship that will only lead to suffering and another civil war.
