For areas along and west of the Pratt to Medicine Lodge line in the area outlined in the image below late this Tuesday afternoon...thunderstorm activity is expected to increase over the next 1-2 hours. 8 am temperatures...the leading edge of the colder air extends from west of Garden City towards Hays. Much colder air will come in from Nebraska and northwest Kansas later today into Wednesday. Temperatures are in the 50s in Nebraska.

Enjoy the cold front Tuesday! We deserve it.
Expect increasing clouds, increasing northeast winds, and scattered showers as the cool air arrives today. Temperatures will fall during the afternoon once the cold front passes your location.
It is only in the 40s in western Nebraska Tuesday morning. It will not get that cool here, but it will be a very noticeable, welcome change!🍂🍁🌬️
