DID YOU KNOW?

Nearly 1/3 of the DCCC student body is made up of student athletes and 91% of those athletes live on campus in residential halls.

If DCCC were to eliminate student athletics, there wouldn’t be enough students living in residential halls, leaving taxpayers stuck with the bill.

With the suggested elimination of sports programs, free tuition for Ford County residents, and no enrollment of out of district students, Ford County residents would see a projected 35% increase in property tax.

CONQuering Workforce Issues by Training Tomorrow's Workforce

Continuing to look at local workforce needs, Dodge City Community College is able to refine programs and courses to meet industry demand. Not only does this help employers, but it better serves the students by formulating an education pathway that matches them with jobs they desire. DCCC also provides extracurricular activities and sports like, Rodeo. This is an additional opportunity for students to gain real-life hands-on experience to help guide them in their future. DCCC is building a pipeline of skilled workers for the future.

CONQuering Student Life Obstacles

DCCC continues to make improvements to the campus and facilities in order to enhance student life. Additions, like a new walking track and trophy cases, have been made to the Student Activity Center. The Horse Barn has been renovated and an addition of fencing and horse sheds have been made. Upgrades, including flooring, have been made to the Little Theatre and added campus lighting and cameras ensure safety.
