πŸ¦‹ Nature Fun with Little Ones: Monarch Edition! πŸ›

We had such a wonderful Friday learning all about monarch butterflies! Dee Lahey, a Monarch Watch expert for over 20 years, joined us to share her incredible knowledge and passion.

Here is a look at our morning:

πŸ“š Read a book to learn about the monarch life cycle

πŸ› Met real caterpillars up close

🎨 Made butterfly rings & life cycle bracelets

🏷️ Headed outside to watch Dee tag and release two male monarchs!

As our two butterfly friends took flight, the kids wished them "safe travels" on their long journey south. πŸ§‘πŸ–€

What a magical morning exploring nature together!

We had the MOST incredible event last night! βœ¨πŸŒΈπŸ„ Our hearts are so full.

It was wonderful to welcome such a great group to the Lowell Park Nature Center for our clay jewelry making workshop. The room was buzzing with creativity, laughter, and connection, everything we hope to foster.

Check out these beautiful, finished pieces inspired by the forest. So many mushrooms, flowers, and even little starry nights!

Thank you to everyone who shared their time and creativity with us. We can't wait for the next event!

Thank you for your inspiration, Dolly Parton. πŸŒŽπŸ’—
