We took Dixon VFD 242 down to Dave's Heavy Duty Collision & Alignment Center in Albuquerque yesterday for an alignment in preparation for putting 242 back into service as a Command vehicle. As the technician was preparing the Invoice, he said he needed to check something on the vehicle because he was sure it couldn't have only 17,000 miles on a 1996 truck. We assured him that was correct. Many thanks to Ron Lopez for all of the work that he has done to bring 242 back into service.
