Join us on Saturday, July 18 for a special celebration of Dixon's most famous hometown star with Hollywood Reagan: A Double Feature at the Dixon Historic Theatre!

Before he became the 40th President of the United States, Ronald Reagan was a young actor inspired by the movies he watched right here at The Dixon. As Reagan's hometown theatre, we're proud to honor his Hollywood career with two classic films that helped tell his remarkable story.

🎞 3:00 PM – Kings Row (1942)
One of Reagan's most acclaimed performances, in the film that inspired his famous campaign slogan, "Where's the rest of me?"

🎞 7:30 PM – Hellcats of the Navy (1957)
A unique piece of Hollywood history starring Ronald Reagan alongside Nancy Reagan. This was also one of two films that premiered at the Dixon Historic Theatre, making it especially meaningful to our community.

⭐ During the event, guests will have the opportunity to view a signed Hellcats of the Navy movie poster on display inside the theatre.

Even more special, Hellcats of the Navy and International Squadron (1941) both premiered at the Dixon Historic Theatre, connecting our stage directly to Reagan's Hollywood legacy.
