Here’s an update from Webster County Water District.
Dixon Waterworks is now under a boil advisory during repairs and follow-up water quality testing.

🚨 WCWD Customer Update 🚨

Some Webster County Water District customers may experience low water pressure or a temporary loss of water tonight as we continue working through the infrastructure issues at the plant.

Thanks to the help of Slaughters local Don Pettus, Heath Marsh, and our dedicated WCWD employees, we are currently working on a permanent repair solution to address the issue. We are extremely thankful for the resources, effort, and teamwork that have gone into getting us to this point.

Customers may continue to notice impacts over the next couple of days, and those affected will remain under a Boil Water Advisory until all required steps are completed and water quality is confirmed.

We ask for your continued patience and understanding as our crews work to complete these repairs safely and correctly. We appreciate our customers and are grateful to finally be moving toward a solution.
