Campbell's Ferry Historic Homestead is an 85 acre property located in the Frank Church - River of No Return Wilderness on the south bank of the Wild and Scenic Main Salmon River. Originally settled in 1897, the property was purchased by the Trust For Public Lands in 1988. A conservation and scenic easement was sold the the U.S. Forest Service in 1989 and the property was sold to conservation buyer

s Doug Tims and Brad Janoush in 1990. Six partners (see Impressum) own the property. Doug and Phyllis Tims are on site caretakers who maintain the property and share the history of the homestead with visitors who stop by during trips down the Salmon River.
