Road Construction Alert!

Project one Road Closure Notice: 3rd Ave NW will be closed from 9th St NW and 34th St N on Wed. June 10 for water and sewer connection work. The project is expected to take 1 to 2 days.

Project two: Per Clay County Highway Dept: Construction on CSAH 9 (AKA 9th St NW) is set to begin June 10th and is expected to be completed within a month. The project consists of a mill and overlay on CSAH 9 from US Hwy 10 to CSAH 18 (28th Ave N). The road will remain open to local traffic during the project, however, traffic will be reduced to a single lane.

• Additional Family Member: $10
• Single Pass: $50

🏊 Swimming Lessons:

After 20 years, today marks Deputy Clerk Becky Tigue’s final day with the City of Dilworth.

Becky has been a true mainstay of the Dilworth community and City Hall for the last two decades. If you’ve stopped into City Hall, called with a question, paid a utility bill, attended a meeting, or simply needed help over the years, there’s a very good chance Becky was part of that interaction.

Her knowledge, dedication, and care for the community have left a lasting impact on both the organization and the residents she served every day.

Becky — thank you for everything you have done for the City of Dilworth and our community over the last 20 years. We wish you nothing but the very best in retirement. You will be greatly missed ❤️

With pet walking season upon us, please remember to leash up! It is against city ordinance not to 🐾

🐾 Reminder for Pet Owners 🐾

The Police Department has received numerous complaints about pets roaming or being walked without a leash. For everyone’s safety (and your pet’s too), please keep your pets leashed when off your property. Electronic collars do NOT count as a leash. Pets must be physically restrained with a leash when in public.

📌 Enforcement:
• 1st Offense = Warning
• 2nd Offense = City ordinance violation (§ 90.15)

👉 Why Leash Laws Matter:

1. Respects those who may be fearful of dogs
2. Prevents conflicts between pets
3. Keeps your pet safe from getting lost or injured
4. Ensures public spaces stay welcoming for all
5. Protects wildlife and natural resources

DGF student Cole Houska has been selected by the Dilworth Loco Daze Committee to serve as Grand Marshal for this year’s Loco Daze Parade ❤️

This morning, members of the Dilworth Police Department Minnesota, neighboring law enforcement agencies, the Dilworth Fire Department, and many of Cole’s classmates gathered to celebrate this special recognition.

Cole and his family continue to be true warriors and an incredible example of strength, resilience, and perseverance for our entire community. Dilworth is proud to celebrate you!
