We were honored to have Candice present alongside Allen Beneker, Victims Coordinator with the Ripley County Prosecutor’s Office as guest lecturers for law students at Northern Kentucky University Chase College of Law!

During the presentation, “From Disclosure to the Courtroom,” students learned about the critical role of Children’s Advocacy Centers and the multidisciplinary team (MDT) approach in child abuse investigations and prosecutions.

We are so thankful for this grant opportunity! Thank you so much Community Foundation of Switzerland County, Inc.

Earlier this year, CFSCI offered a competitive General Operating Support Grants Program as a one-time opportunity to provide nonprofits affected by federal and/or state funding cuts with unrestricted funding to advance their missions. Nonprofits were eligible to apply for up to $10,000 per organization. General Operating Support grants are flexible and can be used to support an organization's ongoing administrative costs and/or maintain existing, valuable programs that benefit Switzerland County residents.

CFSCI is excited to announce the third of four recipients, the Children's Advocacy Center of Southeastern Indiana (CAC). The mission of CAC is to minimize trauma suffered by alleged victims of child abuse. The Center is designed to use a multidisciplinary team approach, which facilitates the prevention, detection, investigation, and treatment of child abuse. CAC covers ten counties in southeastern Indiana, including Switzerland County.
