π± LAWN SCHOOL β September 19
If you've ever stood in your yard wondering what that grass actually is and what it needs from you, this is the program for you.
Lawn School is a full day of everything you ever wanted to know about growing grass on the coast β plus the chance to ask questions all day long to professionals whose only goal is to give you good information. Whether you want to do it yourself or just be an informed customer when you hire a lawn care company, you'll leave knowing what to ask for and why.
We'll cover the basic maintenance and preventative steps that keep a coastal lawn healthy, and walk you through the tools you should have and how to use them effectively β from adjusting your sprinkler head to putting out fertilizer at the right rate. We'll go through centipede, St. Augustine, zoysia, and Bermudagrass, what each one wants, and a month-by-month calendar so you know what to do and when.
You'll leave with a game plan for what to do year round in your yard to have a more resilient, healthy lawn.
Come out for a solid introductory course, in person, and bring your burning questions. Research-based answers, no agenda except to inform. πΎ
