We’re honored to welcome Denise Stroud, RDSM as our new Medical Manager.

Denise brings 40 years of experience in healthcare, including 32 years performing obstetrical ultrasounds. Her depth of knowledge, steady presence, and commitment to compassionate care make her exactly the kind of leader we need as we continue moving forward as a medical pregnancy center.

She has spent decades walking with mothers, fathers, and families—celebrating life, navigating hard moments, and providing care rooted in both clinical excellence and dignity.

We’re grateful God has brought Denise to this work and to this season at the Pregnancy Center.

This week, our Executive Director had the honor of attending a Parenting Completion Ceremony hosted by P*e Dee Coalition — a meaningful celebration of parents who committed time, effort, and heart to strengthening their families.

Programs like their parenting classes play an important role in supporting parents with practical tools, encouragement, and a sense of hope as they move forward. We’re thankful for organizations like P*e Dee Coalition who walk alongside families and help build healthier futures for our community.

Our Heartbeat Tree isn’t just a Christmas tradition — it’s a reminder of why we do what we do.

Each ornament and stocking represents a family walking through a season that can feel overwhelming. This tree exists to remind them — and us — that support, hope, and compassion are never out of reach.

This week, our Christmas Heartbeat Tree came to life.

Because of the generosity of our supporters, families we serve were surrounded with care, dignity, and reminders that they are not alone. Each gift under this tree represents someone who chose to show up quietly and lovingly for a family in our community.

Three years ago, a young mom in our community shared a powerful testimony at our Gala — a testimony of hope, healing, and the life-changing difference your Pregnancy Center can make.
Her journey wasn’t easy, but through prayer, compassion, and steady support, she stepped into motherhood with courage and confidence.

Today she and her little boy are thriving.

We are so thankful for the Minsterial Alliance! Thanks for your support!

James Orr of the Dillon County Ministers Alliance presented a check for $630 to volunteers of the Pregnancy Center. The Pregnancy Center exists to serve young moms and dads as they embark on the precious care of a child. The Pregnancy Center serves the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the mother as well as the father. For more information please call 843-506-8710.

Our Heartbeat Tree is officially up for the Christmas season, and it’s one of our favorite traditions each year.

Each heart-shaped tag represents a child from one of the families we’re serving. The ornaments include a first name, age, and a short list of gift needs to help make Christmas a little brighter. (Names are changed to protect privacy.)
