The Dillon County Historical Society’s second meeting of the 2026 year will be on Thursday May 28, 2026 at 6:00. The meeting will be held at the Latta Rotary Hall across the street from the Dillon County Museum. The Latta Rotary Hall is on the 2nd floor, there are stairs up the outside of the building to enter the hall.

If you would like to see the Dillon County Museum please arrive at 5:30 to go in the museum before our meal and meeting begin.

Please respond below if you will be attending this meeting and if you will be inviting a guest so that we have an accurate head count.

The Dillon County Historical Society had the drawing today from the raffle tickets sold at Celebrate Main last Saturday. The 50/50 winner is Chris Shaul. Kay Jenkins won the Carley Wiggins’ book, and Donna won the garden flags. Thank you to all that stopped by our tent and bought raffle tickets!

If you would like to help the Dillon County Historical Society clean the Dillon County Museum, we are looking for volunteers. We will be at the museum on Saturday April 11th from 11am until 2pm (or until finished). The more hands we have, the quicker the job gets done. Please consider volunteering!
